SIMONE L. ROCKSTROH President and Treasurer
Mrs. Rockstroh is President and Treasurer of Carday Associates, Inc. She started her career in employee benefits in 1969 in the Pension Department of Carday Associates. Since that time, she has worked for Home Life Insurance Company and served as office manager with Abraham and Axelrod, Inc., a firm specializing in benefit programs for professional corporations.

Since her return to Carday Associates in 1980, Mrs. Rockstroh gained experience in all aspects of Carday's business and operations. She has served as Assistant General Manager and was tasked in 1982 with organizing the Carday branch office in Washington, D.C. Since 1984, she has worked as an Account Executive on several large Carday accounts, including Carday's national accounts, and is currently serving as President of the Carday Board of Directors. She is a member of the Administrators Advisory Committee of the National Coordinating Committee of Multi-employer Plans and the Executive Director of the Health Care Cost Containment Corporation of the Mid-Atlantic Region. Mrs. Rockstroh is Treasurer of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans' Board of Directors, and is serving on the Strategic Initiative Steering Committee and the Government Liaison Committee. She has served on the Administrators, Educational Program, Research and Coalition Committees.

Mrs. Rockstroh is certified as an EMT and serves as Treasurer of the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company.
CHRISTOPHER E. BRECHT
Vice President and Chief Operations Officer
Mr. Brecht joined Carday Associates in 1995 as the Operations Manager. He has worked as an administrator for Taft-Hartley Multi-employer Funds since 1991. Mr. Brecht graduated from Radford University with a major in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, he holds the Retirement Plan Associate and Group Benefits Associate designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He has been a speaker at several International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans conferences. Mr. Brecht currently serves as Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Carday Associates.

Prior to joining Carday Associates, Inc., he served as Assistant Fund Administrator for the UMWA/BCOA Training and Education Fund.
RENEÉ PARENTI
Vice President and Account Executive
Mrs. Parenti joined Carday in 1992 as Assistant to the Senior Vice President. She is a 1982 graduate of Jefferson Technical with a certificate in Business Data Accounting. Prior to joining Carday Associates, Inc., Mrs. Parenti was involved in credit analysis and collections for a Fortune 500 company and provided administrative support for a construction management firm in its Pharmaceutical and Water Purifications Divisions. Since joining Carday Associates, she has been promoted to Assistant Account Executive and is currently an Account Executive. Mrs. Parenti was promoted to Vice President in 1997.
SUSAN GUNYON
Vice President and Operations Manager

Mrs. Gunyon joined Carday Associates in 1987, having worked in the accounting field for more than 10 years. She started in the Accounting Department and was later promoted to Accounting Department Supervisor. In 2001, she was named the Operations Manager for Carday. Mrs. Gunyon was promoted to Vice President in 2002.

 

MARY JANE DE BATTISTA
Vice President & Manager of Milwaukee Area Offices
Mrs. DeBattista began her career at Carday in 1975 working as an assistant to the Account Executive. In 1981, she took over as Account Executive to several client Funds. Since that time, Carday added several new client funds and opened more offices in the Milwaukee area with Mrs. DeBattista serving as the Administrative Manager of Milwaukee area Taft-Hartley clients and managing the local offices.

Before joining Carday, Mrs. DeBattista worked for several years as an executive in the automotive industry distributing auto glass for Ford Motor Company in the Midwest. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee majoring in Business Administration and is currently working toward completion of her C.E.B.S. Degree.
 
NICHELLE GREY
Vice President and Account Executive
 

A graduate of Howard University’s School of Business, Ms. Grey has a Bachelor of Business Administration – Finance. After graduating from Howard, she began working as a Customer Service Representative for the Federal Employee Program at BlueCross BlueShield of the National Capital Area (now CareFirst).

For the past 13 years, Ms. Grey has worked in the Third Party administration arena first as a Senior Account Manager for NCAS. In October 2004, she joined Carday Associates, Inc. as the Manager of the Membership Services Department. Nichelle is currently an Account Executive and Vice President.

 

Ms. Grey also has a Maryland Life and Health Insurance producer license.
